Train to Tibet - Ads by Google

An amusing coincidence, or Google.cn conspiracy? I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw this...

Readers familiar with Tibetan websites will recognize the placement of this advertisement immediately as Phayul.com. What’s also rather interesting is that the site advertised, ChinaTibetTrain.com, is full of “Ads by Google” itself, as well as a news feed that’s listing stories such as (as of my writing) “Man dies on Tibet train trip”.
While the site claims to be “official”, I can’t seem to find any information about who actually operates or owns it. The complete lack of Chinese propaganda and claims of ownership of Tibet, not to mention the lack of badly-broken English, suggests to me that whoever put up the site has no affiliation with the Chinese government or railway.
