ONE WORLD. ONE DREAM. FREE TIBET!

Back from Tibet

This past summer I spent nearly three months in Tibet, travelling independently from place to place. My travels were personal and not political in purpose, but nonetheless, everywhere I went there were things I saw and things I heard from Tibetans on which I feel a need to report.

So, after months of server outage, I’ve brought nyamrup back online for a new series of articles. I’ll try to keep up a pace of averaging one short article per day for as long as I can, covering short specific topics.

All of my writing here is dedicated to the many brave people who I met in Tibet, some of whom said things which I’m even afraid to repeat here. Despite half a century of Chinese repression, the Tibetan spirit is alive and fierce in Tibet today, and I was humbled and honored at every chance to see it first-hand.
