Chinese embassy to the U.S. signs for petitions

Today at 9:57 am, the Chinese embassy to the United States received a little bit of a surprise: nearly a pound of petitions signed by residents of Charlottesville and nearby areas demanding an end to the violent suppression of Tibetan protests.
Signatures were collected, 10 per page, by members of Students for a Free Tibet, Amnesty International, and the Charlottesville Tibetan Association, and delivered via FedEx overnight with signature confirmation to force embassy officials to actively receive the package.
